Jordi Alba announces his retirement from professional football
The decorated Spanish defender joined Valencia CF at the age of 18, the Club where he grew and was given the opportunity to make his LALIGA debut
Valencia CF president Anil Murthy attended the NIT NADALENCA event put on by the club and the Banco de Alimentos on Wednesday at Mestalla, during which food was distributed to those most in need this Christmas.
Besides overseeing the good work done for a worthy cause at the event, Mr. Murthy spoke to VCF Media to send a message of support to the team.
The president emphasised the good work done by the players and the coaching staff everyday, and expressed his conviction that this will soon translate into a good dynamic of positive results that will lift the team up the LaLiga table.
Valencia CF's president, Anil Murthy, shared the following message with VCF Media:
"We are aware that we are not where we want to be in the table. Points have gotten away from us, but we continue working and improving in order to achieve those three points that could make all the difference. Now, more than ever, it is time to give all of our support to this team who are fighting to bring joy to our fans again."
